Program Manager

*       Central Coast location

*       Key leadership/management role

Are you a successful manager looking for a great opportunity?

Central Coast Community College is a leading provider of adult and community education, and a Registered Training Organisation.  The College is situated on the Central Coast Campus at Ourimbah, and enrols over 4000 students per year in to a wide variety of courses.

The Program Manager holds a senior position within the structure of the College, and is part of the key management team.  The position has significant responsibility to ensure the efficient day to day running of the administration office.  The Program Manager is responsible for liaising with the managers of five other business units to plan and develop the College’s Course Guides.   The Program Manager also develops and manages the Lifestyle and Leisure program, with a key focus on providing accessible, affordable, non vocational courses for the community in a wide range of subject areas.

This is a busy and challenging position, suited to someone who has flexibility to cope with the demands of varying hours.  It requires commitment, passion and drive in order to be successful.

While there is a core 5 day per week component, the Program Manager is also required to work during the evenings at the start and close of terms to support tutors and students when courses commence and conclude.  In return, the College offers flexible working hours and time off in lieu to cover these periods.  A fully maintained vehicle is supplied with shared fuel costs (employee pays for personal fuel use only), to cover the irregular hours and locations of work.

Central Coast Community College strives to be an Employer of Choice. We are committed to providing staff with a flexible, family friendly environment and offer staff a variety of benefits:

·         Flexible hours

·         Leave provisions as per Fair Work legislation

·         Employer funded superannuation of 9%

·         Limited salary packaging following qualifying period

·         Regular training and development opportunities
